I’m a Filipino writer currently based in Jakarta, Indonesia. Before Jakarta, my family spent many years in Seoul, South Korea. Seoul remains especially close to me because it was there that my husband and I raised our two sons and created so many of the memories I find myself returning to every now and then.

My curiosity has also led me to photography, painting, and other creative pursuits. I love beautiful places and good coffee, but I am just as interested in the stories behind them. You can sense that in my travel and cafe-hunting stories.

This website has evolved as I have. What began as a place for me to write has become a collection of travels, café discoveries, photographs, reflections, family stories, and pieces of a life lived across different places.

And now, some of those stories have found their way into my first book, Before We Knew They Were Memories.

There is no single subject that defines everything I write here. Perhaps the thread connecting it all is simply this: everyday moments, beautifully lived, and worth remembering.
