Do’s and Don’ts and How to Use the Curicare HARU LED Mask

I have been using LED Masks for over a year already so I am sure I can share with you the Do’s and Don’ts and How to use the Curicare HARU LED Mask. The Curicare HARU LED mask is my latest skincare gadget. You can check out my other LED Masks here and here.

Also, I just happened to receive my latest Certificate of Appointment as Honorary Reporter for Korea.net so, I think the best way to start my new HR year is to share what I love the most. And that is about skincare, specifically Korean skincare. For me, the ultimate home skincare gadget you can have is an LED Mask.

There are many LED Masks out in the market, but I am lucky to be living here in Korea. We all know how superior Korea is when it comes to skincare. So, I am naturally drawn to a Korean-made LED mask. I know I can trust anything manufactured here.

I had been using the Curicare Haru LED Mask for one month now and it has not disappointed me at all. First, I only have to use this for 8 minutes a day and I am done with this convenient home skincare tool. It saves a lot of time compared with the effort I need to do when I go to a skincare clinic. The gadget automatically turns off after 8 minutes so there is no need to even monitor your usage.

For me, my most favorite feature is its total care design. It optimizes skincare from forehead to neck. If you are like me who had been checking the internet about LED masks, you would see so many products out there. There are LED masks that only cater to the eyes or the face, or just the neck. You have to purchase and use them separately. The Curicare LED Mask has it all in one gadget and in just an 8-minute usage.

Four Customized Modes

There are 4 modes available when you use this mask: the Daily Mode, Calming Mode, Secret Mode, and Rhythm Mode. Personally, I had been using the Daily Mode emitting red lights. This is important for me as I am now in my forties and red lights improve skin elasticity and regeneration.

The Calming Mode emits yellow lights. It controls melanin and improves brown spots by promoting blood circulation. This might be good for those recovering from inflammation because this will reduce spots and wrinkles. The Calming Mode is good for those with sensitive skin.

It also has the Secret Mode which is really for regeneration of the deepest epidermal cells of your skin. This is known to penetrate your skin deeply so it improves your skin’s collagen and elastin regeneration.

Rhytmn Mode uses a combination of LED lights. It smoothens wrinkles and lifts your skin. This mode increases your skin’s absorption of skincare products.

To know the real effect of each mode to your skin, it is best to use each mode for two weeks. In my case, I had been using the Daily Mode. I know this is good for my skin. But I am curious about the other modes, too so I have already started with the Calming Mode now. I have to use this for another two weeks and we’ll see how it goes.

DO’s and Don’ts

LED Masks are not your cheapest skincare gadgets. So, it is important to take care of your LED Mask because it takes care of your skin.

  • Do not put your LED mask where there is direct sunlight or heat.
  • Avoid places with a lot of moisture and dust.
  • Do not store in a place where the temperature is either too high or too low as this may cause malfunction.
  • If you are recovering from any skincare procedure, avoid using the LED mask.
  • Definitely not use the gadget when you have skin inflammation.
  • You are not supposed to use this when you are pregnant, lactating, or when you have your period.
  • Consult your physician if you have a thyroid-related disease.
  • Ask your physician if you can use the LED mask if you have sun allergy.
  • Take out your jewelry when you are using the device.

I hope my personal experience will help you in checking and taking care of your skincare gadgets. As the world continues to unsafe, we have to make sure that we stay safe all the time by minimizing going out. So, a skincare routine based in the house is the safest way to take care of your skin.
