When you are offered the death noodles, would you eat it?
I’m not sure about you, but I did hesitate when I first heard about it. It happens to be the spiciest noodles in the world. There are YouTube videos and articles written about Indonesia’s noodles and they are readily available on the internet if you have a few seconds to search for it. I got to know about this popular Death Noodles when GMA’s I-Juander contacted me and asked if I can do their show’s Jakarta segment. Of course, I enthusiastically worked on the filming. What is the Death Noodles?
The Death Noodles is Indomie Pedas Mampus from Indonesia. It is a combination of Indomie noodles and a hundred chilis! And you can find it in Abang Adek here in Jakarta. The novelty of this dish comes from its unpretentious origin. Abang Adek is located in a regular neighborhood sans any fancy landmarks around it. But it has become popular because of the Death Noodles. Also, the challenge comes from the availability of different spice levels. Spice levels start at 10, 25, 50, 75, and 100. Of course, it is the Level 100 that proves to be the most challenging.
The first time I went there to film for the I-Juander episode, I got Level 50 with egg. When I went back again to challenge my husband, I learned that you can actually order the noodles and add egg plus a burger patty. So, I took this Level 100 Indomie Pedas Mampus home:

Siguro po itry ko din para ma experience ko pero hindi ko din kakayanin ubusin. Astig nga po ng asawa mo Ms. Wendy muntik na maubos lalo na level 100 yung anghang nun.

Although it sounds very tempting, I guess it will be okay to miss the opportunity for the spiciest noodles. I’m not that brave!
When you are offered the death noodles, would you eat it? Di ako magdadalawang isip NO ang sagot ko. Hindi ako mahilig sa maanghang kung pipilitin ako baka yung Level 10 lang sa akin. Sa mga spicy lover dyan perfect itry nila yung death noodles.

OMGGG!! hindi ko to kakayanin! im not so kin with spicy food, hanggang 1% lang ako tapos maiinis pa ako kasi di ko maeenjoy yung food! kaya saludo sa mga naka 100 level with this death noodles! i love this trivia, even si coco naki basa while i was reading this!
I like to think I have a high tolerance to spicy food but this looks this one will challenge me!! I gotta try it!! haha
Uhm. I wouldn’t know if i could handle that even if lets say that i like spicy food. I think that there’s a limit. Can take a bite or two though with a glass of milk! Haha
Mahina ako sa Spicy food. So when Im offered this food, I might not be able to eat it. Its a good challenge tho.
Mahilig ako sa maanghang but I bet this noodle will be the death of me! HAHAHA literally death noodle! But I am so curious and I want to try it pa rin. Just the name “death noodles,” I just know it must be mean spicy! I love spicy food but there are certain level of spiciness that I cannot handle. I’ve tasted another spicy noodles at a Chinese resto near here called Chili and Spicy…I could smell the chillies in the soup! I’m not sure how it compares to Death noodles of Indonesia cause I”ve not tried it yet.

Ang anghang Naman Nito ,this is perfect for spicy lovers talaga ,yung super love talaga nila hanggang level 100 but for me ,hindi ko keri kapag Super spicy talaga but looks so good naman
