Special Family Dinner at The Brasserie

Where do you go for a special date night? Or a special family dinner?

Here’s one restaurant I can recommend for its good food selection and relaxing ambiance: The Brasserie.

The restaurant serves a wide selection of dishes which we thoroughly enjoyed. My boys stuffed meat dishes into their mouth with gusto. Hubby and I had sushi and crabs and as I always do in buffets, I get unlimited salmon until my taste buds can’t take it any longer.

I didn’t get as many photos as I would normally do. Blame it on the food… and the company:-). They say, you don’t get to pick up your phone when somebody/something interesting is in front of you. I enjoyed my food choices and loved my company – my family!

With all the food I devoured, I didn’t eat as much pastry as I wanted to. But I had lots of servings of Haagen Dazs ice cream! In my every day, I wouldn’t get near any Haagen Dazs! I am guilt-ridden with its price! This buffet is a different story:-).

Ambiance? My playful sons could show you how comfortable they were.

They’d been playing and moving around taking serving after serving of the food they liked. Though on the expensive side, this place isn’t snotty at all.

The Brasserie offers breakfast, lunch and dinner buffets. It has different weekday and weekend rates. It is best to check their website for price updates: The Brasserie

How to go there?

The Brasserie is located at the 1st Floor of the Intercontinental Seoul COEX.

Address: (06164) 524, Bongeunsa-ro, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, Korea

  1. I tend to avoid buffets because I can never really eat enough to justify the price, but this looks like a good one, with lots of selection to please everyone.

  2. I love Haagen Dazs ice cream, and I love salmon! I also love visiting Bongeunsa temple, so I’ll look out for the Brasserie next time. Your children are adorable, btw. 🙂

  3. Thanks for the suggestion! I am not a buffet person myself but I’m always up to try new places especially ones with a nice ambiance and a good recommendation! I’ll make sure to give this a try when I’m in Seoul next!

  4. I love a good buffet and if salmon is there and for a good price, I know a few friends who will appreciate it ! AND Haagen Dazs! Ultimate cheat day restaurant hehe.

  5. I always feel like I don’t ever eat enough at buffest, HOWEVER my husband usually eats enough for the both of us so maybe it evens out hahaha. I can’t ever take a ton of pics when my fam is with me either. That’s a good thing though I think. Looks like you guys had a great time together. ^^

  6. I’m totally with you on gorging on the salmon as it is too my absolute favorite fish, but 90,000pp on the weekend ouch! I think I’ll just treat myself to the giant slab of salmon from Costco instead haha. Buffets are so incredible in Korea, compared to back in the States, but waddling out of them hurting in all the wrong places just seems torturous to my wallet and figure lol.

    1. That’s why I intentionally didn’t put the price, hahaha, just the link to those who would want to check it out. I initially didn’t want to go there because of the cost but hubby convinced me we don’t always spend this much for food and the kids would surely enjoy. They are at this age when they are appreciative of these kind of experiences. They did enjoy… and we did, too:-).

  7. I think the fewer the photos, the better the food in many instances! You’re right though, Hagen Daaz is ridiculously expensive in Korea. But a buffet is the perfect chance to indulge. I do feel like they’re wasted on me most of the time– I like small meals every couple hours. My husband can really pack it away though, he is the king of buffets 😉
